Who are the angels?

The word ”angel” derives from the Greek word ”angelos”, which means “messenger”. As their name suggests it, the angels have the role to intermediate man’s relationship with God by sending messages from the Divinity to man and the other way round, from man to God. But they are not just some simple messengers: their task is also to guide and support us on the long path of life.
