On 7th & 8th March, Adina Stoian kept the Complete Femininity workshop in Natha Yoga Center.

Women from the UK, Sweden, Romania and Denmark came together for two days of practical and theoretical teachings aiming to help women awaken and embrace their femininity and to learn how to deal with problems which appear specifically for women on the spiritual path. Adina is an inspiring and very experienced yoga and tantra teacher from Natha Yoga Center and the dynamic force behind the amazing courses and workshops which Natha offers to a female-only audience. Since she began these courses several years ago, the ‘Tantra for Women’ course has become one of Natha’s most successful classes.

On this special tantric weekend, we explored many amazing topics, which unfolded unexpectedly, in a relaxed, yet intense atmosphere that Adina knows so well to create.
Amongst the many subjects she presented, were the basic feminine qualities, showing the participants that it is possible to aim to manifest these feminine qualities that are often replaced with some masculine surrogates in a male dominated society. Inspired by this presentation, many of the participants began, for the first time, to create a new image of a true woman in the world.

One of the topics which created a vivid debate amongst the participants was the presentation about the meaning of “shakti” - feminine power – in the tantric tradition and how to approach spirituality in a feminine way. Ignored by many spiritual systems and sometimes excluded completely from the spiritual life, woman was given her rightful position on the spiritual path in the tantric system.  Presenting these fundamental principles that address specifically the woman created a wave of aspiration and transfiguration amongst the women who asked a lot of practical questions in order to integrate themselves as well as possible on the spiritual path.

It was amazing to see how the women openly received this large amount of new information about awakening femininity, beginning with the subject of fashion – how to dress and how to match colours in order to create a state of harmony and positive resonances – and ending with the most popular topic – the art of making love with sexual continence, the method that allows women to be completely fulfilled in the erotic experience while simultaneously turning it into a spiritual experience.

The workshop began with a round in which every participant had the chance to express their reasons for coming to the workshop. For Adina it was no surprise that almost everyone mentioned she is fed up with almost always having to take the role of the man, making their life a strange mixture of emotions and experiences. Finally, they all want to accept themselves as a woman and understand the role they have in the Divine Play.

During the weekend, it was interesting to observe the transformations that took place in most of the women, even from one day to the next. The attitudes and appearances of the first day (including the grey and black predominance in clothing and the unisex style) were forsaken for a more feminine approach to life. Flowers appeared in the hair, harmonious colors took the place of grey and charming smiles of self-confident sensuality replaced the worries and daily problems.

The continuous flow of questions and answers that followed each topic made the whole workshop an informal meeting full of life and feminine joy rather than a series of dry lectures. Through her practical wisdom, Adina guided each participant through the fascinating maze of the feminine soul, allowing each woman to express herself without losing the general direction of the ideas to be presented.

As a gift for the participants, a very beautiful technique called “the morning ritual” was given. This technique is a simple method to help women find the way back to the soul and, through the power of transfiguration, to awaken the beautiful princess which is sleeping in every one of us.

By adding the tea and cookies that were continuously supplied by Natha's team we have a complete image of the whole Femininity weekend.

When the moment of departure came, I looked around me and all I could see were shining eyes and smiling faces brimming with new ideas and a lot of enthusiasm for the new feminine life.
I look forward for the Shakti Camp, already enthusiastic at the whole week we are about to spend as a follow up of this weekend workshop.
