Wednesday evening students and teachers of Natha Yogacenter went to the northern forest of Dyrehaven to ‘meet the fairies’. Often spontaneous acts encourage success, and indeed we soon found ourselves in a caravan of cars in search of astral love and a fairy feast of sparkling ecstasy in the Heart.

Not later than the last yogi had risen from the final yogic relaxation in Concordia we levitated all into the cars and hit the beach road towards the Northern forest. And it looked like a southern Riviera as we cruised out in the warm blue summer evening. Gathering in the clearing the caravan of cars had got a tail of wandering fairy seekers who seemed to arrive from all directions, and the 1 hour and 15 minutes long meditation of communion with the fairies shot us off into a passionate and romantic world of dream beings celebrating the essence of life.

The fairies seemed to enjoy the attention as much as we did, and those prepared with firm devotion and suitable clothing enjoyed uninterrupted rapture of the Soul.  And for the less prepared ones... Besides the astral dance with the fairies, they also engaged actively in the other picnic of the evening.  As less voluntary their participation might have been to this, indeed their hosting mosquitos were boozing into their fleshly feast of still sitting yogis doing their best to wisely remember the art of Ahimsa – non-violence.

All in all a beautiful example in itself of the fluctuations of the mind between existential rapture and as existential suffering. All we can really do is to observe both with equal fascination…
Stay in tune for more spontaneous summer events, and remember to join all your friends who already signed up for our summer camps!
