In the same way that there is the energy of love, the energy of happiness, the energy of joy, there is also the divine energy of forgiveness, with which we can enter in a state of occult resonance.
In the same way that love attracts love, joy attracts joy, also forgiveness attracts forgiveness. In order to bring the state of forgiveness into our inner universe, we must attract the divine subtle energy of forgiveness in our being. The special state of sensitivity that love causes us to experience, as well as the relative vulnerability that abandonment and surrender to the human being that we love brings, both of them lead, in some cases to suffering. In certain situations, it is possible not only to unwittingly cause suffering to the human being that we love, but it is also possible to be exposed to suffering ourselves. Such situations, in which some human beings face certain suffering, caused by love, are almost inevitable. But it is essential to remember all this suffering in fact highlights our inability to stay detached.
Those who are truly able to become detached will never be touched, and that is why they will never suffer from love. But let’s see what can be done for those who, due to their inability to be firmly detached, suffer or feel hurt because of love. To those unable to be detached, love causes certain wounds and suffering in their soul. The sovereign remedy that heals everything is as simple as it is irresistible: the divine energy of forgiveness.
Looking at reality from the perspective of lex talionis – the principle of “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” – each human being has the right to take revenge. She has no reason to forgive. But forgiveness is not only a welcomed action of physical therapy. At the same time, it is an operation that reveals the soul, which is hiding beyond the broken heart.
Each human being who suffers has faced aspects, situations and experiences which seem unforgivable at first sight. All these awaken in her the huge desire to pay back, to take revenge. There is no doubt that if such situations, which we can at the same time perceive as spiritual lessons and initiatic tests, did not exist, we could never truly learn what forgiveness is. Nevertheless, we must forgive.
When we truly succeed to forgive, this forgiving that appears does not necessarily mean forgetting (the complete suppression from our memory of the deed or the action that hurt us) and it also does not mean that we close our eyes (playing dumb). To forgive does not mean to absurdly pretend that nothing happened (finding all kind of speculative or ridiculous reasons). On the contrary, to forgive means to examine the suffering or the wound in a lucid and detached manner, from all aspects. Eventually this wound will be healed completely through the divine subtle energy of forgiveness, which brings simultaneous effects at the level of the soul.
In order to be able to forgive, we must attract in our inner universe, through invocation, the divine subtle energy of forgiveness. This is done by asking for God’s help, honestly, humbly and full of love. In such a situation, after we have consecrated the fruits of that action to God the Father, we will ask Him to bestow within our being the divine subtle energy of forgiveness. Standing, facing east, we will inwardly utter the following simple and efficient prayer: “DEAR GOD, HEAVENLY FATHER, I BEG YOU WITH HUMBLENESS TO BESTOW UPON MY BEING YOUR DIVINE ENERGY OF FORGIVENESS. I BEG YOU TO HELP ME TO TOTALLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY FORGIVE ALL WHO HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST ME, WILLINGLY OR UNWILLINGLY. I THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY PRAYER AND FOR YOUR HELP. AMEN.”
We will utter this simple prayer at least seven times and each time, at the end of it, we will feel our being filled, from up downwards, through the top of the head, with the divine subtle energy of forgiveness. When this flow of divine subtle energy of forgiveness stops, we say the prayer for the second time and we continue in this way each time we utter this prayer.
At the end of these utterings, we think intensely of the being that we wish to forgive and the actions or situations for which we forgive her. Then, we feel how the divine subtle energy of forgiveness has an ineffable action, which brings us a specific state of inner release and purification, which shows that the divine subtle energy of forgiveness has succeeded in this operation of annihilation. At the end, we will have the possibility of checking the efficiency of forgiveness through the presence of a state of complete detachment in our being from the aspects, actions and situations which have caused us sufferance or pain, as well as from the being that triggered them.
If we notice that there are still certain strange tendencies, which show that the process of forgiveness was not completely finalized, we repeat the procedure described above, until we feel clearly in our being that specific state of complete detachment that we spoke about.
In the following we offer a second efficient method that allows us to forgive with the help of the divine energy of forgiveness. Also with this method, it is extremely necessary to utter the prayer we have presented in this chapter at least seven times before applying it. Then, after we have charged our being very well with the divine subtle energy of forgiveness, we will move on to the next step, and we will aim to apply the second method, which we present in the following.
Let us see now what will be the way to act in order to forgive? First of all, we will aim to put ourselves as well as possible into the “shoes” of the one who hurt us or who made us suffer. Maintaining ourselves in the position of the one who hurt us, we will aim to think lucidly and with detachment what we would have done if we were in his place, in exactly the same circumstances? Especially in that moment, we have to ask ourselves, with maximum lucidity and detachment, how we would have reacted.
Immediately afterwards, we will start to examine the person that caused us sufferance or pain, outside the context in which she had offended us, placing her, with the help of creative imagination, in a completely different context and frame. For example, we will aim to imagine what the person we want to forgive looked like when she was a child or, even better, we will remember as exactly as possible a certain situation or circumstance in which, at a certain point, we met and we got along very well.
At the end of this operation of visualization we remain with the eyes closed, interiorized, and then we aim to open our heart completely, at the same time invoking God’s help and asking Him to fill our heart and being with the subtle energy of His infinite compassion.
At the end of this action we must perceive that state of detachment that we have mentioned. When it is taken to a good finalization with the help of the divine subtle energy of forgiveness, attracted in our being from the Macrocosm, forgiveness represents a double warranty. It releases the human being to which it is given from the feeling of guilt and at the same time it removes the specific sadness, suffering, tensions and contractions, which are constantly maintained within the respective being, if she does not forgive.
It is necessary to add that, additionally, forgiveness that is taken to a good finalization with the help of the divine subtle energy of forgiveness presents the one who is forgiven in a new light, which is the mysterious light of love, and not of judgement. The state of detachment that is established shortly afterwards, when forgiveness was accomplished successfully, shows that, without a doubt, we succeeded to forgive completely. If the state of complete detachment does not establish, we will go through the process several times, until we will succeed. We can add here that when we start to act with the divine subtle energy of forgiveness, it will be harder in the beginning. Then, as we gain the necessary experience, it will be much easier to forgive, each time using the divine subtle energy of forgiveness for this. As we have shown in the beginning, forgiveness always attracts forgiveness. The process of occult resonance that is triggered then is inevitable.
In conclusion, it is very important to understand that when we do not forgive a human being that hurt us, the state of torment and suffering remains constantly in our inner universe and it generates an occult resonance which feeds that suffering until the energy of forgiveness annihilates those wounds, that suffering, and makes them disappear forever. While judgement contracts the soul and exposes it to endless suffering, forgiveness removes these wounds and suffering instantly and, bringing peace, it allows the soul to blossom.
