 Motto: “Certain miracles are always performed by a united and fraternal group of human beings that each time act in unison in a beneficial way”
- Yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru

The fascination of esoteric knowledge, the excitement of the yoga contest, the magic of the theater show in which the ten Great Cosmic Powers were incarnated, the yang spiral meditation; there were three days of celebration, suspended somewhere beyond the quotidian time. These were the three days of the International Congress “Yoga and the Millenary Planetary Wisdom 2008”.
Organizers, guests, audience, all together and each one in particular made possible the success of this spiritual marathon.
For the MISA Yoga School, the three days were a genuine exam of spiritual fraternity.

Representatives of 12 yoga schools in 11 countries were present in the Congress - by means the guests that gave lectures and workshops and by means the yogis who signed up for the yoga contest. The numerous international participation made a success out of this Congress. A natural success, considering the success of the first event of this type organized by MISA, the Congress of the European Yoga Federation from Bucharest, 2005.

From HATHA YOGA to the androgynous state
The first day of congress drove the curious to practical HATHA YOGA exercises, MUDRA-s (sacred gestures that put us in resonance with certain beneficial subtle energies from the Universe), lessons for awakening and control of the senses, sexual continence, the mysteries of the glorious androgynous state or the importance of maintaining the masculine-feminine polarization in a spiritual couple relationship. A great success was Mihai Stoian’s presentation about the True Secret, as it was actually never revealed in the famous movie “The Secret”. One pointed out the spiritual errors that the New Age current and respectively the movie “The Secret” promote. These are the ignoring of the existence of the Almighty Divine Will and of the role of the spiritual Guide in spiritual evolution, as well as promoting a predominantly materialistic orientation that is camouflaged under the gild (facade) of a so-called spirituality.

The lesson about forgiveness offered by Swami Mahalayananda, the representative of the yoga school from Portugal, opened the gateway towards the mysterious space of the heart for many of the people that were present there. The guest from Germany, Angelina Hünefeld told the people there, during her conference that has KARMA YOGA as a subject, about the ashram from Berlin. She spoke about the way in which practicing this form of yoga transformed her students, improving their life. However, she had some problems. A zealous prosecutor accused them that, in the Berlin yoga center, where one performed KARMA YOGA actions, one would allegedly practice munca la negru. The situation was saved by a detailed discussion that Angelina had with the judge who was handling that case. She explained to her what KARMA YOGA actually is and that is a personal and conscious choice. The discussion naturally led to dismissing the case from trial.
Ileana Stefanescu from the United States spoke about the law of karma, KARMA YOGA and also about forgiveness. “A practical exercise suggested during the conference was to pray for the being that is next to us, by using a specific MUDRA. After my lover joined her hands in front of her chest, I took her palms in mine and I prayed in this way. At that moment, I intensely felt a state of opening of the heart, as if our hearts melted in an infinite space”, tells us Andrei, one of the spectators that were present in the conference. “After this exercise, I felt a lot of peace in my heart”, tells us Radu, who is not a yoga student, but came to the congress after having read the articles from www.yogaesoteric.net.

A conference that was largely discussed by many of the people there was that of Monica Dasc?lu, on Saturday, about the role of the spiritual Guide in the YOGA practice. “This conference was for me a revelation. I understood why I need guidance and then I felt Grieg present both in me and outside of me, I felt him flowing through the words that I heard in that moment. In the meditation with the state of total confidence in the spiritual Guide I completely abandoned to God, through Grieg", tells us Andreea, third year of yoga. Gabriela also had a special state during that meditation. “I felt an overwhelming love that melted away any fears, any doubts or hesitations in me.

The yoga contest

The most awaited moment of Saturday was, by far, the yoga contest. 111 yogis from 10 countries signed up in the international competition “Promoting the YOGA millenary spiritual values”. “All of us who participated in the contest, are winners. It was a magical field, there were wonderful states”, says Arthur, from Israel. He decided to participate in the contest one night before. All the ASANAS that were demanded in the contest are practiced by him in his TAPAS for years. This was not his fire test. “It was a wonderful pretext to unmask the actions of the ego. I was afraid not to make a full of myself. Certain competitive thoughts also came out at that time; in that beautiful and warm atmosphere, they were obviously ridiculous. Once I noticed their comic, they disappeared”, confesses Arthur, who won the sixth mention in the contest.
The first test from the contest consisted in the correct execution of three ASANAS - SHIRSHASANA, PADMASANA and VAJRASANA. The members of the jury were - Gabriela Amb?ru?, Andrei G?mulea, Monica Dasc?lu, Liliana Dumitru from MISA Romania and Mihai Stoian from NATHA Denmark - were the ones who graded each competitor. “I don’t know the points I got at this test, but I know that I have felt the activation of the centers of force more intensely than ever. There were orgasmic states, I discovered the ASANAS as genuine gold mines”, accounts Andrei. Since he found out about the contest he told to himself that it is an experience he cannot miss, especially that he heard countless stories from his colleagues from bigger years about the yoga contests from old times. He prepared on a daily basis, gradually increasing the execution time of the ASANAS from the second test in the contest - CHAKRASANA, VRISHIKASANA, MAYURASANA. “For me, it was amazing to see that in the contest I made much better times than at home”, added Andrei.

The subtle perception test was the hardest. There wasn’t any contestant who correctly perceived all the three manifested states. There was only a person from the audience who gave the correct answer for the three tests - Monica ?tefania Belega, yoga student in the 4th year. Her sisters tells us that she did not dare send the result of her perceptions in the contest, that is why she wrote the note for ?tefania.
“I best liked the perception test. I felt new and very beautiful things and I even recognized the last state as being love”, delightedly confesses Irina, who came to the contest accompanying her sister. The yoga contest convinced her to also enlist for the yoga courses this fall.

The intelligence contest, which had five tricky questions, was very highly graded. Uriel, from Israel, tells us that he expected them to be questions about yoga and he thought it was a joke when he was asked “how does one correctly weigh a playful puppy?” Nevertheless, he realized that he had to take the questions seriously.
Due to the large number of contestants, the yoga contest took much longer that it was scheduled - more than 9 hours. Alina says that she felt the contest hours as being “purifying”.“I lived everything very intensely, it was a special atmosphere, I could only compare it to the one in the spiritual camps. On a background of effervescence and enthusiasm, I got out of time. In those times, I did not feel the sensations of thirst, hunger or the need to go to the toilet,” she says.

The winners
The best of the 111 yogis enlisted in the contest were rewarded in the end of the congress. In the applauses of the public, they were each presented.
The winners of the contest for promoting the spiritual values are:
- First prize (which consists in 750 euros, plus numerous other gifts and a well-deserved holiday of 30 days in Costine?ti, accommodation and food provided) was won by Pavel Ion 18th year of Yoga, Romania;
- The second prize (500 euros, plus numerous other gifts and a well-deserved holiday of 14 days in Costine?ti, accommodation and food provided) was won by Sântimbrean Pavel, 14th year of yoga, Romania;
- The third prize (250 euros, plus numerous other gifts and a well-deserved holiday of 7 days in Costine?ti, accommodation and food provided) was won by Aniscenco Adriana, 19th year of Yoga, Romania;
One also granted 10 mentions of 100 euros each and numerous presents. Together with the yogis from Romania, one also awarded Trubel Rainer (Denmark), Lederer Arthur (Israel) and Andersen Celestine (Denmark).

A special prize was also awarded to Kotouckova Evo, from Czechia, student in the second year of yoga, who had the best time for the performance of CHAKRASANA (20 minutes, 17 seconds). The longest execution of VRISHIKASANA was achieved by Cotora Adrian, 10th year Bucharest (4 minutes, 55 seconds) and that of MAYURASANA by Pistis Zadoff, from Israel (3 minutes).

Faces of God
The surprise of Saturday’s evening was the show that the Sophrozin Theater had prepared. “I felt that God came down to earth. Everything was absolutely magical and divine”, believes Roxana. The magical show “The ten faces of God” brought the 10 Great Cosmic Powers to the stage, in turn. The public, together with the actors, invoked and then meditated with KALI, TARA, TRIPURA SUNDARI, BHUVANESHWARI, TRIPURA BHAIRAVI, CHINNAMASTA, DHUMAVATI, BAGALAMUKHI, MATANGI ?i KAMALATMIKA. „I never felt the 10 Great Cosmic Powers so alive, so concrete. The girls from the show were all extraordinarily beautiful. They had a glitter of another world” confesses Oana at the end of the show.
 The women who embodied the ten Great Cosmic Powers were chosen by drawing the lots. Beatrice, who was CHINNAMASTA, related the entire week to the specific energy of the sixth Great Cosmic Power from the Hindu pantheon. She re-read the brochure with CHINNAMASTA, she did a lot of LAYA YOGA and she sought as many images with the symbolical representations of the Great Cosmic Power as possible. Until the show, all the girls had a group TAPAS. “For us, it was a great privilege. We felt like the celebrated women of the evening”, says Beatrice. The overwhelming states that were lived by the girls on stage were worth every sacrifice that was made. The ones chosen to be the Great Cosmic Powers were honeyed from head to toe and then covered with bronze dust. They waited for hours in the back of the stage, without the possibility of sitting down. “They proved that they are strong women because they did not complain because of the discomfort. And compared to all that was given to us, we still did little”, adds Beatrice.

The show transported the audience to another world: an archetypal world. “In a few hours, we were carried through the entire manifestation. Time, space, void, beauty, courage, divine fascination, compassion were all embodied and revealed to us. I lived overwhelming states of adoration of the feminine mystery, as well as adoration in front of what SHAKTI is”, says Dan. People who came from abroad were amazed and fascinated. “It is for the first time in my life that I see such a show, which is much more than what I thought theater to be”, says a yogi from England.
On the last day of congress, the yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru sent the audio recording of a new conference about sexual continence. The conference contains many initiatic techniques that are revealed for the first time, even for the experienced practitioners of sexual continence. It only depends of each person’s intelligence and daring to put them into practice. The yang spiral meditation with the topic “Awakening and manifestation of the glorious androgynous state" was another wonderful moment of Sunday. Almost 700 people took part in this spiral.

The congress ended in an exuberant atmosphere, with tons of applauses, with the award ceremony for the winners in the yoga contest and also with the ending festivity. “The meditation of gratitude towards God the Father crystallized in my being the meaning of all these days. I felt a deep state of happiness and I discovered myself as another human being, much richer and closer to God”, confesses Alina.
This Congress is a new and wonderful beginning. In his speech in the end of the congress, Mihai Stoian invited all the participants to come back to the following congress next year.
