Sunday, March 9th, at Natha Yoga Center, there was a lecture presented by yoga teacher Amrita Hansen about climate change.

Within this event a documentary was presented, regarding climate change. According to different scientists and weather forecast people, the whole story about climate change and huge natural disasters taking place nowadays because of it is nothing but a big lie, meant to cover the political game behind it. This documentary shows that hurricanes, ice melting at the North Pole and other effects of the warming up in the earth’s temperature have always been part of the life of our planet. The increase of CO2 does not produce the warming up effect it is said it does; actually it seems to be the other way around. Graphics of temperatures during the past hundreds of years show that the increase of CO2 follows the rising of temperature. And it seems of greater importance to study and monitor the activity of the Sun rather then that of the clouds, as it is the Sun that has the biggest impact and influence upon the Earth and its temperature. But it seems that since there has been given so much attention to climate change, the US budget for this area jumped from a few hundred thousands dollars to approximately 2 billions dollars a year! This shows clearly that it is intended to make people believe and worry about the changes in Earth’s temperature. For what purpose? I hope to find out in the following lectures on this subject, as this lecture was the first of the Trilogy – Climate Change.
