In solidarity with Satya Esoteric Integral Yoga school

We, the teachers and students of Natha Yogacenter wish to express our concern over the flagrant abuse of spiritual practitioners and the violation of spiritual values by fundamentalist-religious groups and certain parts of the media in India.

The target of this abuse is Satya Esoteric Integral Yoga – a member of the Atman International Federation of Yoga and Meditation, of which Natha Yogacenter Denmark is a full member.

 
On Friday 3rd June, an attack upon the Indian yoga school – Satya Esoteric Integral Yoga was started. It began with a high profile article on the front page of The Times of India (one of India’s biggest newspapers) falsely denouncing the yoga school as a European sex cult which is dealing in pornography and is aiming to spread  throughout India and corrupt its youth. Such ridiculous claims appear even worse in light of the fact that the journalist had a long and friendly talk with the people of Satya Yoga during which they exposed wide segments of their curriculum as well as complete explanations regarding the specificities of their teachings. In the article later published, the journalist wrote misleading facts and lies, completely ignoring all that was said to him and focusing only on the ridiculous accusation of pornography while trying to shed doubt upon the legality of the visas of the teachers of Satya Yoga.
It is peculiar that an article about a small group of volunteers sharing their knowledge of yoga reaches the front page of a paper which is read by millions of people, unless it is inspired by some ill-intended people who are hiding in the shadows. We state this fact as an indirect proof of the hidden interest that exists behind this smear campaign against Satya Yoga since the events that followed also took the same direction.

Gregorian Bivolaru is Innocent!

On the 23rd April 2010 I was announcing ‘a great victory for our yoga school’ since at that moment the court decided that my spiritual guide Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru is innocent. Since Monday the 14th March I can now even more happily announce the final triumph in the court, since the appeal formulated by the Sibiu Prosecutor’s Office against the decision of acquittal of Gregorian Bivolaru was rejected. The meaning of this, for anyone who is familiar with the international law – and this is valid everywhere in the world – is that that Gregorian Bivolaru’s innocence is undeniably and definitively proved! Before quoting the official press release text from our school’s internet site and the relevant parts of my analysis of the 2010 April decision of the court, I will comment on this act of true justice in Romania’s contemporary law scenery and on the way it is received by the Romanian media. This act of justice from the 14th March 2011 in Alba-Iulia marks another step forward towards the complete and fair act of justice in the series of strange trials against the MISA yoga school and its spiritual guide, Mr. Gregorian Bivolaru. The pre-fabricated accusations in their intended ‘heaviest’ breakpoints have just fallen into pieces.

Nu, 10 år efter erhvervelsen af Ådyssegården, som blev til Bhoga ashram og Natha Yogacenters retreatsted, har vi besluttet, at Natha ikke længere fortsætter kampen om Nathas retmæssige ejerskab af gården. Vi trækker vores appel af retssagen tilbage og samtidig opsiger lejerne  deres lejemål hos  Kim Schmock og flytter ud pr 1.  februar 2011.

It was with great confidence in the Danish judicial system's responsibility and the possibility of a just decision that we awaited Judge Morten Larsen's verdict regarding the Bhoga case on the 14th December 2010.

Even greater was the disappointment at the courts incomprehensible acquittal of Kim Schmock, which was not based on reality. The judge's reasoning lacks heart and human insight bearing unmistakable signs that the decision had been taken on beforehand and that he was just casually looking for a few opinions to support his reasoning, without taking into account that these statements were actually an outright lie - disproved by a majority of witness statements.

For example, he let one untruthful statement from one person claiming that Natha had no money have a decisive influence - as opposed to 10 witnesses who unanimously confirmed that they had commitments from the Bank, within the agreed deadline.

The associations members tenacious work was sufficient to raise the necessary burden of proof in the trial where they proved Nathas real ownership of the property Møngevej 11, and Kim Schmock’s binding promise to assign without personal profit the formal ownership of Natha upon his departing from the property.

Clearly motivated by anger and revenge, Kim Schmock, Celia Clausen and Karsten Fischer constructed a story full of lies regarding the whole story of Bhoga, which Morten Larsen swallowed completely (There were very essential periods that they could not remember, but what they do remember is that they are right).

Members of the Natha Yogacenter association seek through their own way of life to promote a higher morality in society, based on warmness of heart, friendship and trust that you can rely on each other's words and promises.

Therefore the association trusted Kim Schmock and invested 1.8 million kr in the farm - and its members worked together for more than 20,000 hours to turn Bhoga into a yoga and retreat center.

Morten Larsen did not listen very attentively to the 16 witnesses who confirmed the details, including that Natha was directly involved in the purchase of the farm. And his decision shows fatal lack of the human courage that is required for a judge to make a fair decision.

What kind of justice allows that people - who through their volunteer work and trust invested so much - are now left with nothing - while one person who has done nothing special, ends up getting a farm worth millions - just because you trusted him?

Although Larsen is covered by a property deed, the courts outcome is absurd.
Natha will naturally appeal the case to a higher court of law.

Det var med stor tiltro til det danske retsvæsens ansvar og muligheden for en retfærdig afgørelse, at vi afventede Dommer Morten Larsens afgørelse i Bhogasagen den 14. december.
Endnu større var skuffelsen ved rettens uforståelige frifindelse af Kim Schmock, som ikke var begrundet i nogen realitet. Dommerens begrundelse mangler hjerte og menneskelig indsigt og bærer umiskendeligt tegn på, at han på forhånd havde taget beslutningen og blot lemfældigt søgte nogle få udtalelser til støtte for sin begrundelse, uden hensyntagen til,  at disse udtalelser faktisk var en lodret løgn – modbevist ved et flertal af vidneudtalelserne.

For eksempel lod han én løgnagtig udtalelse fra én enkelt person, om at Natha ikke havde pengene, få en afgørende indflydelse - i modsætning til 10 vidner, der enstemmigt bekræftede,  at de havde tilsagn fra Banken indenfor den nævnte deadline.  

Forenings-medlemmernes ihærdige arbejdede formåede tilfulde at løfte den nødvendige bevisbyrde i retsagen, hvor de bevidste Nathas reelle ejerskab af ejendommen Møngevej 11 samt  Kim Schmocks bindende løfte om, uden profit, at overdrage det formelle ejerskab til Natha ved fraflytning.
