Tantra
Genuine knowledge about the ancient tradition of tantra is very rare today. Many people have an opinion about tantra – but very few know what tantra actually is! Thus there are many misunderstandings about Tantra, the most common one being that it is just a set of erotic exercises.
Tantra is a revolutionary approach to life that offers you the chance to live life with intensity and consciousness. With tantra you go through life by saying “yes”.
Tantra is the science of inclusion and acceptance. The reason why tantra in contemporary times is known mainly as a tool for improving the erotic life is that we today are having big difficulties accepting and including sexuality. Therefore we go from one extreme to the other. From frigidity to perversity. Tantra discovers the middle way – both in sexuality and in life itself.
Yoga and Tantra form the Indian spiritual tradition, a foundation deeply connected to universal philosophies. Much has been written and discussed regarding these studies, but due to their profoundness and hidden symbolism they remain opaque. A secret throughout the centuries, Tantra remains diffuse, mysterious and puzzling yet constantly present in the diversity of yoga techniques, especially in its Tibetan forms. With purposeful investigation, it presents a genuine science of man where cosmic forces mingle with physiology, psychology, magic and spiritualism. Tantra offers a practical, multi-leveled vision of the human being, a unified theory that explains the most intimate aspects of man's behavior which have evaded current research. A detailed, sincere study and practice of Tantra would contribute to the enrichment of contemporary science and psychology in a manner not as yet conceived. Tantrism recognizes in Kundalini the source of a mysterious energy - an energy still not properly defined by modern science but of paramount importance for a complete spiritual emancipation. In Tantra, sexual union is one of the possibilities offered to man and woman to concentrate and direct the consciousness's activity toward the Supreme Being. Due to the enormous intensity of this union, the consciousness of both partners develops and fuses, at the beginning between themselves and later with the Cosmic Consciousness. The indescribable beatitude then felt embraces all things and beings. All that still subsists is a never-ending thirst for unity, only a Lover and a Loved-one.
Tantra is a genuine and exceptional form of yoga which puts sexuality in its right place, recreating the missing spiritual dimension of the sexual experience. This practice expands the human consciousness to the greatest extent and considerably enriches the knowledge of Man and the Universe. At the same time, through the surprising links established among apparently heterogenous phenomena and scientific facts, Tantra opens the road toward infinite horizons, where many extraordinary discoveries wait for the tireless practitioner.

Yoga

Meditation
Meditation is often misunderstood to be a method for self inquiry, deeper understanding or inner peace. Is that so? Letting yourselves absorb into this extraordinary phenomenon might lead you to a much more complex and profound understanding. If we consult the few wise people who either inhabited or still inhabit this planet who have been gifted with a genuine and ultimate experience of meditation, they all agree on one thing: Meditation is not a human-invented technique for relaxing the mind and the body. It is a natural state, a universal phenomenon, an enlivened human potential, where you obtain a direct perception of Reality. What ever you are doing in and with your life, meditation is something which can successfully help you to reach what you aim at in a harmonious and sublime way.
For this reason we have decided to share with our readers some fascinating facts about meditation that have been almost completely ignored until now.
Even though you might as well find some of these texts in a public library, they are secret first of all because each one of them has been carefully considered and chosen by people who themselves have had profound experiences in meditation, and therefore have been able to recognize - by applying the principle of resonance – genuine perceptions of the state of meditation. We invite you to dive into this fascinating faculty of Divine Creation, and to meditate on it until it sinks deep into your subconscious realm of intuitive understanding.
You will also be able to read about what famous ancient masters, as well as modern masters and advanced students, have experienced in deep states of meditation.
Because that is the purpose of any study after all: to put it into effect within our own lives, or as Swami Shivananda described the process of any spiritual realisation with great precision: Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realise.
Yours kindly Sahajananda Editor on www.natha.net.

Explanation about meditation on beneficial astrological conjunctions The ancient yogic tradition has at all times used the power of beneficial astrological conjunctions in order to integrate certain spiritual actions in the divine and cosmic harmony. Participating in these meditations on certain beneficial astrological moments will first of all help you to enter and savor, spiritually speaking, the secrets of the astral occult resonances. Through a firm and continues focus on them, these ineffable moments offer us, in the same time, the chance to live totally and profoundly in the present moment. Since these meditations are done by a large group of people all over the world and since many of the meditations at the same time are supported by yoga-teachers, whom are able to go into a very deep state of meditation, you also have the opportunity to learn how to align your own spiritual being with the spiritual efforts of a large group of people.
This is something quite special, and from a subtle point of view you will be able to feel the specific amplifying effects generated in your being from any beneficial action when a group of people is focusing on the same goal or aspect.

Healing
This section presents different materials about the ancient medicines and natural treatments and cures. Especially the ancient Indian medicine of Ayurveda will be considered by a series of great articles by experts in this specific medical field of knowledge.
Health has become a topic of great importance in our modern times, if it has not always been. Today we are facing more than ever a global fight with known and yet unknown diseases, due to both poor social conditions as well as exaggerated extravagant consumer cultures in the Western countries.
The solution for defeating this global virus of impurities and bad health might very well be found in systems of knowledge which we have already known for thousands of years. And yet which until now it has been basically forgotten.
Welcome to the world of ancient medicine!
Good health! Natha.net

Astrology
Astrology (from Greek: (astér, astrós), "star", and (lógos, lógou), "word" or "speech"(lit. to talk about the stars) is a group of systems, traditions, and beliefs in which knowledge of the relative positions of celestial bodies and related details is held to be useful in understanding, interpreting, and organizing information about personality, human affairs, and other terrestrial matters. A practitioner of astrology is called an astrologer, or, less often, an astrologist. Numerous traditions and applications employing astrological concepts have arisen since its earliest recorded beginnings in the 2nd millennium BCE. It has played a role in the shaping of culture, early astronomy, and other disciplines throughout history.
Historically, astrology and astronomy were often indistinguishable, with the desire for predictive and divinatory knowledge one of the primary motivating factors for astronomical observation. Astronomy began to diverge from astrology after a long period of gradual separation in the 18th century, and has since distinguished itself as the scientific study of astronomical objects and phenomena, placing no significance on these phenomena's supposed astrological correlation.
