Introducing a letter from Yoga teachers Rainer and Angela of Natha's sister school in south India - Satya Esoteric Integral Yoga - telling of an extraordinary event, a lecture infront of an audience of 50,000 people.

After I have been in India few times and have taught there yoga and tantra to a very enthusiastic crowd, it is time for my dear colleagues from Satya Esoteric Integral Yoga to start experiencing the Indian immense thirst for genuine spirituality and amazing capacity to receive and assimilate what comes to them, even if the teachers are not what they are used with.

In front of a great number of students and university teachers, Rainer and Angela were bringing the message from our school and were received with great enthusiasm and interest to hear more about the revolutionary approach on spirituality that our school is providing, based on the law of occult resonance. Having together a great number of spiritual seekers and scientists that all together are searching a path to higher levels of consciousness uniting all the methods and principles that are known is also an amazing characteristic of the Indian reality today.

  • gifts_and_givingWhen we give love, happiness, pleasure or other spiritual gifts and we act in a spontaneous manner, being animated by abnegation, we simultaneously receive – from God – as many gifts as we offer ourselves. Thus, we can easily realize that when we give lots of love, at the same time we ourselves receive – from God – love that is overflown in waves into our being. When we give happiness to others we ourselves are very happy. When we spontaneously give refined and beneficent pleasures to human beings of the opposite sex, whom we love and who deserve it, we also feel, in unison, emphatically, the pure and elevated pleasures that we offer. This is why in the folklore they say: “Do good, and good you shall receive”.

The fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) are linked with the karma of personality development. This shows that these beings did not sufficiently develop their personality in past lives and this is their present challenge. Clearly asserting oneself  is a necessary stage both for truly knowing our desires and aspirations as well as manifesting our potential. The way in which the fire signs interact and establish contact will help them to increase self-confidence and develop personality. They are bold explorers but have to learn the meaning of respect for others and the virtues of dialogue.

Esoteric tradition says that, in order to manifest, any thing must have a color and a form.

Each one of us has a favorite color and probably each one of us notices that by wearing clothes in a certain color or by simply admiring a specific color, our psychic state can change.

Cromotherapy, as we can understand from the name itself, is a science based on the study of colors and its aim is to value the therapeutic virtues of some of these colors.

colors auraColors are an intimate part of our lives. They influence and at the same they reflect us. We use them in order to describe our physical and mental condition, our attitudes, reactions, even the spiritual experiences we have. If we listen carefully to what the others say, we will notice how often color is used as part of our vocabulary.

“Today I see life in pink.”
“He was so angry he could see red in front of his eyes.”
“The situation is rather blue."
“He was green with envy.”
“He has a golden heart.”

Color is given by the light’s certain frequency of vibration. Light has more major frequencies and countless secondary or composed frequencies, which give, in fact, the nuances. If we hold a prism in the sunlight, on the opposite side there will appear all the colors of the rainbow, or ROYGBIV (the initials for red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet).

The energies specific to each person, energies that form the aura of the respective person, are characterized by light and color. The clarity, intensity and distribution of colors in the aura give us information about the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state of a person. As we persevere in applying the yogi techniques we will start to notice the colors of the aura more clearly. But this is only a first step, which must be followed by the understanding and interpreting of these perceptions.

Colours are present everywhere

By ayurveda teacher, Andrei Gamulea

yellow flowersOur whole existence is covered with colours: the wonderful colours from nature, the colours of the objects in our home, the colours of our clothes, the colours of walls from the rooms, the colours of buildings, the colours of cars and different vehicles we are travelling by, the colours of books, magazines, papers, the colours from movie scenes and those seen on the TV, the coloured lights from the feast fireworks, the colours of Christmas decorations and gifts, or the colours of flowers we offer to our beloved ones for their anniversaries.

All these represent as many moments we interfere with colours and get in contact with their effects. This is why it is useful to know which are the effects of each colour over the human being.

The New Age Movement Attracts More And More Followers

Steps-to-heavenMore and more people today become, without realizing, the adepts of a new religion, concealed behind the generic name of “New Age”. We can easily see an upward orientation of aspiration of humankind towards higher and higher perspectives on life, towards much broader horizons, way beyond the ‘’walls’’ that used to give us the illusion of a safe shelter for our soul during the times of old religious paradigms.  This new era, or this New Age, appears in the world more and more visibly nowadays, and its dynamic energies are more and more present in the consciousness of the planet. More and more people today speak about a real elevation of the level of planetary consciousness, and this generates an aspiration in people that otherwise would not have even bothered to read a book or do some morning exercises. Still, there are occult circles that have stubbornly made efforts to take over this free flow of human aspiration toward the heights of the spirit which has appeared in the masses. The purpose of these groups was and still is, to divert this search toward something for which they have already been preparing, namely, the confinement of the human spirit inside a new prison, built on the remains of the old walls – the old religious dogmas.

Love-hormoneIn the beginning, when love is new, romance, courting and conquest are aphrodisiacs, stimulants that increase our appetite for sexual union. Eventually the chase ends, hearts are won, and lifetime pledges are made. The happy couple says “I do,” strolls off into the sunset together, destined to be lovers forever.

So what happens? The newness fades, the passion flees. Where does it go? Does it get mortgaged along with the house? Disposed with the diapers? Years ago, Mary, age 49, shyly told her family doctor that she had lost interest in having sex with her husband. She was told this was a natural event, that women eventually lose interest and that’s the way it is. For some women, she was told, it comes earlier. Today, Mary might be offered testosterone patches to fire up her lagging libido!

I am sitting in my bed with my laptop on a Friday evening in the start of January, and recalling my wonderful experiences from the Heart of Tantra-retreat from December 27th 2010 to January 2nd 2011.
I knew already since the Summer Camp 2010 that I wanted to participate – and had promised myself already when I left the Summer Camp that I would be on stage somehow. At that time it seemed very easy to make that promise to myself – and after all, I could always draw it back when the New Year's camp came nearer.

karmayoga1KARMA YOGA is the path of detached action which makes possible the spontaneous tuning of the aspirant with the infinite divine  energies.  By carrying out his daily activities or social duties without any  attachment or desire for getting hold of the results or the  fruits of the action, the karma yogi is constantly purifies  his mind and accelerates his inner progress.

KARMA YOGA – Yoga of the Detached Action - is one of the main forms of YOGA. The purpose of this spiritual practice is the communion with God, the spiritual  liberation, the final completion. The karma yogi should remember as often as possible of this noble goal of his practice and should realize that actually everything he does - apparently - for others, he does for his own good, for he is the main beneficiary of his actions, which are  correctly integrated in this spiritual practice which is KARMA YOGA.

Our Actions Bear the Fruits of Our Responsibility

We live in a time of humanity’s evolution in which we must learn the lesson of living together. This lesson takes place with all its ups and downs, and makes us face both our inner tendencies and the consequences of our own actions. The planet has become too small for ignoring one another, and it is even smaller for such big egos (huge in some cases).

swine-fluTherefore, we need to understand now, more than ever, that each of us has his/her own meaning in Creation, that all our actions affect both ourselves and others, and that we cannot continue to be content with the infantile statement: “If you don’t like it, go and play somewhere else!” We cannot do this because the toys we are playing with make the planet look small. The one who dislikes our game cannot go far enough away for our game not to affect his life. This individual or collective amplification of power – obtained through the progress of science- compared to the dimensions of the planet and to the expansion of civilization throughout all habitable land, is forcing us to learn to be together in one way or another.

Crisis , together with the spiritual tests, are neccesary ways to pass from an evolutional phase to another

crisis1The term "crisis" comes from the Greek word "crizis", which refers to the action of analyzing, choosing and deciding. Most often, a crisis is a sudden, unexpected modification, often decisive, which appears during an illness. It can lead to a beneficial and favorable transformation, which brings an improvement and eventually the cure of that illness, or to an unfavorable, distressful change, which triggers the aggravation of that illness, deterioration and even death.

In the medical vocabulary, this term got a technical meaning: crisis is a decisive stage of an illness. Or, better said, a key moment when the modification that appears in the state of the patient shows either the beginning of a happy transformation or of a bad and misfortunate change of his health condition.

The meaning of this word expanded and, by analogy with the above-mentioned medical term, every dangerous and decisive perturbation that interferes with the normal flow of events or phenomena is currently named crisis.

At one point, Racine talked about “Crisis of passionate states”. The classical age was interested in psychological crises numerous times and it studied mainly the affective crises.

long_lasting_loveThe discovery of the Self is a fascinating adventure, a journey full of experiences which you can make either alone or not… But in the couple the spiritual transformations are much faster and more efficient. And, as we all look for accomplishment through love, it is more natural to step towards the peaks of perfection together with the beloved being.

Love is the divine gift for which we must be profoundly grateful. It is the key that opens for us the gate towards the Absolute, the magical catalyst of any beneficial becoming. For instance, anyone who has practiced meditation  for a longer period of time, knows how difficult it is to experience spiritual states with an agitated, full of thoughts and stressful mind. But when we fall in love, this gate towards the Absolute opens with an extraordinary easiness; because love is a very clever way of tricking the ego.

The happiness of the other one spontaneously comes above one’s own happiness, and the other one’s wishes come above one’s own wishes. Love makes us open and generous, and the empathic quest of the other one’s soul will bring us closer to our own soul.

Sharing The Christmas – A Tradition Of The Heart

Christmas_Natha_yogisAt Natha Yoga Center we have celebrated Christmas with all our dearest friends on 22nd December and I am happy to share here with you some impressions from the evening…! In a warm and heart full atmosphere we came together all the teams and friends of the yoga center and we chatted, laughed, meditated, eat, enjoyed the reunion and of course we received our personalized gifts and mottos for the evening.

It was wonderful to see how after another year the love we share for each other is growing more mature and how the beginners are growing, how friends stand by, how the Christmas spirit gathers around the Christmas tree bringing out the best and most beautiful in all of us. The chefs of Ambrosia (the vegetarian restaurant in Concordia) have prepared a delicious Christmas meal with Danish, Romanian and international recipes of the season…of course we had “sarmale” and of course we also had “ris a l’amande”!

Yoga and Meditation affect our genes

By Arthur Lederer

A research from the US shows that practices such as Yoga and Meditation can alter the way our genes are activated.
The research took place in Benson-Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Genomics Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).

The researchers showed that practices of Mind-Body such as various forms of yoga, meditation and prayer induce in the body a state called ‘the relaxation response’. This state is characterized by reduction in oxygen intake, increase in exhalation of nitric oxide, and lower psychological distress. Many scientists believe that the relaxation response is the opposite counterpart of the ‘flight or fight’ stress response, a basic impulse that human beings have in reaction to perceived danger. The ‘flight or fight’ response has already been shown by a number of studies to have a distinct pattern of physiological and gene expression changes – determining some genes with specific attributes to go into action. The researchers raised the hypothesis that in a similar way to the ‘flight or fight’ response, so the relaxation response would determine changes in the activation of some genes.

yoga norrebro, copenhagen•    If we look inside and outside of ourselves with attention and lucidity, we discover that in reality there are no urgent matters. This way we can realize that often there are only people in a rush.
•    All that is truly useful and valuable is always at our disposal, and is free of charge. A significant example of this is the Endless Energy of Love.
•    It is infinitely better to always appreciate ourselves with attention and lucidity, at our true worth, instead of despising ourselves.
•    To easily reach a state of contemplation, it is recommended that we try at least once every day to detach ourselves from spontaneous thoughts, and to let them drift past like clouds in the sky. When we enter such a state of contemplation, it is very good to aim to be life and not think of life.
•    Never lose sight of what is always available and extremely valuable. That mysterious something, omniscient, omnipresent and eternal, is God the Father embracing us tirelessly, even when we do not expect it.
